Hand made in Virginia of the highest quality copper, this mute does the job.  It creates a high quality tone (because of the soft nature of copper) and super quiet playing.  The wife or anyone else in the house won’t hear you practicing those licks. You can play hard on the strings (like you would when you’re jamming) and it stays quiet.  Fits snugly on the bridge and can be installed and removed with one hand.  It can be adjusted (open or close) for different size bridges as well.  Fits on 4 & 5 string banjo’s.  The mute measures 3 1/8″ long x 3/8″H x 3/8″D.
I individually cut, polish and assemble each mute by hand. Then I test each one on my banjo so I know it works.  Everyone who needs to play quietly needs one of these affordable copper
