2 Guillot France Matte Hand Painted 7 3/4″ Bird Plates Nightingale Goldfinch. Condition is Used.
2 beautifully hand painted decorative pottery porcelain plates made by the French potter Marcel Guillot around 1950. These 2 plates were part of a series of many birds. You’ll get the nightingale and the European Goldfinch. Both plates measure approximately 7 3/4” across and are in excellent condition free of chips, cracks or crazing. Both plates are signed GUILLOT Peint a la main (translated to painted by hand) France. Nightingale in French is Rossignol and goldfinch is Chardonneret.
